The $99 A Month Car Dealer Scam

February 10th, 2012

Many people are confused or upset when they advertise a car dealer for a $ 99 payment per month to be seen. Sometimes the dollar amount changes, you use a dealer $ 47 monthly payment or a series low of others. I will explain why the car ads that use these tricks usually offer you a bad deal. In fact, I tell people that if if a car dealer advertising in this way they avoid doing business with them. The reason car dealers use this method of advertising because so many people with what their monthly payments are obsessed and eventually they will never understand how this number was generated.

You need to understand how a car dealer, to determine your monthly payment, if your monthly payment of $ 385 is a good price or bad price comes. Many people do not understand that two people have the same payment of $ 385 for the exact same car and someone has a bargain, the other a bad deal! So if someone asks me to assess their competence to buying a car, throwing a low monthly payment I simply nodded in agreement to be polite. Of course I do not know if they had a good or a bad deal and they usually do not either!

So, look at all the elements that make up the monthly payment of a car buyer, so you can make intelligent decisions. Your monthly payment is a combination of the following: the payment of interest on your loan, a fraction of the current loan (if your loan is 48 months, you pay 1/48 of the loan each month) and any other costs or taxes you might undo the transaction have made. These are separate elements that make up your monthly payment. So you should have negotiated a good price for your car or your monthly payments will never be a bargain. This applies whether you buy or lease your next car. No figures have a greater impact on your car purchase to the purchase price of the car – common sense when you think about it.
